They touch on how we can be afraid to come off as braggy, how to find those gold nuggets in your voice, and strategies to figure out what parts of your business you should understand.
Do you ever find yourself trying to describe your business or write your website copy and…it’s really hard. How do you explain all of the effort you put in? What do people expect to hear? Is what I do even that special?
Then you slowly start to look around for “inspiration” and the next thing you know, you sound exactly like everyone else.
Everyone wants to fit in, to be accepted, to be a part of something, and as business owners, we want to be selected by clients and invested in.
But the need to fit in can end up hurting you. There can be nothing that separates you from your competition, nothing that sounds like you, nothing that explains why you are the investment worth making. Being afraid can cause you to sound too bland and generic when you are unique and custom.
When you decide what is different about you, and what in your business is important and special to you, that is when you can communicate your VALUE to clients.
