Episode Description
Finding the right words to describe your business can be really hard – trying to distill the feeling of your business, explaining what you do, who you want to serve, and how you serve them down to a few words.
It can be easy to lean on the words you hear over and over again…the ones you think everyone wants to hear from you. “Timeless, fun, intimate, classic, raw, personable…” But when is the last time you really analyzed the words you use to describe your brand to make sure you’re saying EXACTLY what you want to convey? Considering actual definitions AND assumed connotations, industry terms and what people are searching for and relating to.
Today we talk about the importance of having confidence in the words you use (and don’t use) to describe your business, common buzzwords misused, and how they cause business owners to miscommunicate with their ideal clients. I also introduce new strategies to find words that are custom-fit for your brand!
